Frequently asked questions
Can I convert old .doc files?
Only .docx is supported. Open a .doc file in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice and save it as .docx first.
Will the text in the PDF be selectable?
No. Each page is saved as a high-resolution image, so the PDF looks right and prints well, but the text can’t be selected.
What happens to fonts I don’t have?
Fonts that aren’t installed on your device are replaced with similar ones, so spacing can differ slightly from Word.
Is my document uploaded?
No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser.
