Frequently asked questions
Can I change the existing text in a PDF?
You can cover the old text with Whiteout and type the new text on top, which works for most corrections. Rewriting the original text in place isn’t supported.
Which characters can I type?
Any. Latin text is saved as real text. Other scripts, such as Cyrillic or Chinese, are saved as a sharp image of the text, so they look right but can’t be selected.
Is the editor free?
Yes, with no account and no watermark on your document.
Does my PDF get uploaded?
No. The editor runs entirely in your browser and saves the edited PDF straight to your device.
