Your files never leave your device

Most online PDF services upload your documents to their servers. PDFellow does the work right here in your browser, so your file is never sent anywhere. It’s free, there’s no signup, and you can use it as often as you like.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a photo of my handwritten signature?

Yes. Sign on white paper, take a photo in good light and upload it. PDFellow removes the white background and shadows so only the ink is placed on the page.

Is this a legally binding signature?

PDFellow adds a visible image of your signature, which many everyday agreements accept. It isn’t a certificate-based digital signature, so documents that require one need a dedicated signing service.

Is my document uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is opened, signed and saved inside your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

Do I need to create my signature every time?

No. Your signature is remembered while the page is open, so you can sign the next document straight away.
